Privacy notice

What the site collects, why it collects it, where it is kept and how to ask for deletion. The status note below says which of those flows work today.

Status

This notice describes how MK Advisors, LLC will handle personal data when the client portal and email sending open. The current build sends nothing and stores nothing on a server. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We will update this page before those features go live.

Who we are

MK Advisors, LLC is a Texas limited liability company. The firm's right to transact business in Texas is active, and its effective registration date is 7 September 2025. This notice covers this website and the enquiries made through it.

What we collect

The contact form asks for your name, email address, organisation, phone number if you give one, and your message.

The intake form asks for your name, email address, phone number, whether you are a business owner, an individual or both, your entity type, industry, revenue band, current bookkeeping, the services you need, your timing, how you heard about us, and any notes you add.

It also records your consent to be contacted and whether you asked for the newsletter.

Do not send a Social Security number, an EIN, bank details or health information through either form.

Why we collect it

We use the answers to reply to your enquiry, to understand your business and what you need, to decide whether the firm can help, to keep a record of the consent you gave, and to send the newsletter only if you asked for it.

Where it is stored

Today the intake form saves its answers in this browser's session storage so a reload does not lose them. The saved copy clears when a valid final step is submitted or when the tab closes. The contact form keeps its answers in the page and nowhere else.

Neither form sends an answer to a server. There is no database and no email sending in this build.

When the client portal and email sending open, form answers and client documents will be stored on the systems that run the portal. Access will be limited to the people who need it to do the work.

Some of those systems are run by third-party providers. They process personal data on the firm's instructions. We do not name them here and we do not publish where they process data.

How long we keep it

Form answers are not stored now, so there is nothing to keep.

When the portal opens, client documents will be kept for seven years from the end of the tax year they relate to.

We will state the retention period for form answers in this notice before the forms start sending.

How to ask for deletion

Write to hello@mkadvisorsllc.com and ask us to delete your personal data. Tell us the email address you used so we can find the record.

We will delete what we hold, unless the law requires us to keep it. For example, tax records must be kept for the period above.

You can also ask what we hold and ask us to correct it.

Which flows are live today

Live today: the public email address, the in-browser check on both forms, and the saved copy of intake answers in this browser.

Not live: form submission, storage on a server, the client portal, document upload, the newsletter, cookies, and analytics.

A form that passes its check does not send. The page says so when the check passes.

Health information

The site does not ask for health information. Do not send health information through the forms or by email.

Selling personal data

We do not sell personal data.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page before a new flow goes live. The date above says when the copy last changed.
